Kerrie Dorman

Kerrie is an entrepreneur who has grown and successfully managed and sold on a number of SME businesses in a variety of industries including recruitment, bar and restaurant, beauty, retail and gift products. Kerrie started the first of her six businesses at the age of 20, and has a wealth of real-world experience. These businesses were run in Australia and the UK, employing up to 25 staff at any one time.

Kerrie has experienced success and failure, and has learned from both. She can recognise core business flaws and can advise on and implement strategies to rectify them and stimulate success.

Kerrie is a renowned Keynote Speaker, speaking at many prestigious events about Business Mentoring. In addition, Kerrie is also the founder of the Association of Business Mentors and International Head of Mentoring for the IIC&M.

Isla’s experience as a business leader informs her business support where she helps business leaders and entrepreneurs plan, implement strategies and systems, and grasp the right opportunities. She helps her clients realise their strengths, foster growth and innovative thinking and turn adversity into advantage.

Qualified in performance and business coaching and mentoring, Isla is also a certified SFEDI Business Advisor, an NLP Practitioner and member of the Association for Coaching. She has worked with clients from sectors including technology and e-commerce, HR, fashion and retail, leisure and social care, and offers career change and progression support. She is also Director of YES Education and TEEG (The Entrepreneurial Education Group). She has worked with numerous business support schemes from Rural Enterprise and Adapt to Survive through to Ready for Business and Growth Accelerator.

Isla has been a speaker at The Mindful Employer Network, the Research Councils, Wiltshire Police and Thring Townsend in addition to networking events. She has delivered workshops for Wiltshire Police, New College, A4E, Reading Council, Wiltshire Council and private development groups and teams on subjects including entrepreneurship, handling and understanding uncertainty, the emotional journey at work, and building confidence and resilience.

Isla was a contributor on the MentorsMe initiative, sitting on Task & Finish Committees at BIS and being involved with the development of the ongoing business support landscape.
